LET'S CELEBRATE

First Church will be celebrating the entire year of 2012. We will be 120 years old in June of 2012. The church's Committee of Celebration has planned several activities to celebrate and include the community of Yuma as well as the church family.

Gina Arzuaga hasdesigned a tee shirt to remember this celebration and it's FANTASTIC! These shirts are now available through the church.

We will host a Celebration Concert Series tobe presented in our fifty year old sanctuary. All concerts will take place at 7:00 pm Admission will be free exceept that the AWC Concerts will be by suggested scholarship donation. Free will offerings will be taken.

The following poster gives all the information you might need for our concert season and for the honoring of former pastors who are available and willing to join us to celebrate with us. There will be pot luck lunches served following the Sunday Services when we honor those pastors.

November 4th 2012 will be a special day in the life of our church as it marks the 50th anniversary of the consecration of our present sanctuary. Bob Stanley, who was our pastor at that time, will be here to be honored. After that Service we will share in a barbeque at the Yuma Crossing Park.

Much has been done to celebrate God's presence in Yuma through First United Methodist Church for the past 120 years. Please plan to participate and enjoy this wonderful experience.
